We are a Denver, Colorado, based company. Everyone in the company practices The Immortality Project program to some degree or another, though, admittedly, even we forget to record our daily progress occasionally.
Matt Sparks, the company founder and person who came up with the initial idea for the whole program, is only 32, though he has the tested health of a 19 year old. This is not an accident, as learning about health and longevity has been a passion of his from a very young age. Long ago, he recognized that the knowledge within the anti-aging medicine and scientific worlds far exceeded that which most people actually live. He has read literally thousands of books on everything from diet to exercise, from the latest advances in genetics to the latest advances in strength and conditioning coaching, from traditional medicine to the most far out alternative healing practices. He has also interviewed and consulted with a great many health care practitioners of every kind to gather the information found in The Immortality Project program. While he is not technically a doctor or scientist himself, he is an expert at compiling, synthesizing, and disseminating the vast amounts of information already out there. There’s no way to be an expert on everything, so Matt would rather help the regular folks out there to understand it all in layman’s terms. In other words, he’s an actively searching mind, housed in the body of a very entrepreneurial writer. He is also owner and founder of Permanent Weekend, the parent company of The Immortality Project.
Before creating Permanent Weekend, Matt taught ESL and worked as a free-lance writer, among other careers. He strongly supports creating sustainable cities and the New Urbanism movement. If there was only one lesson Matt wishes he could instill in everyone he meets, it would be this: never stop growing-life is too fabulous to become stagnant.
